Flintwell is business software for electrical contractors. This notice explains what information Flintwell handles, why it is used, and the choices available to people whose information is in the service.

Information Flintwell handles

How information is used

Flintwell uses information to provide the estimating and job workflow, keep workspaces synchronized, send requested customer documents and account messages, process subscriptions, secure accounts, troubleshoot problems, support customers, and meet legal obligations.

Service providers

Flintwell uses service providers to operate the product, including Render for application hosting and database infrastructure, Stripe for subscription billing, and Resend for transactional email. When a contractor chooses optional features, relevant information may also be sent to an address-validation provider or supplier service solely to perform that requested function.

Sale and targeted advertising

Flintwell does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for targeted advertising. If that practice changes, this notice and any legally required controls will be updated before the new use begins.

Cookies

Flintwell currently uses essential cookies for sign-in/session security and to remember a selected billing plan. Flintwell does not currently use advertising cookies.

Data retention and security

Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain account and transaction records, resolve disputes, satisfy legal obligations, and support recovery. Flintwell uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and privacy requests

Contractors can update much of their workspace information directly in Flintwell and can export workspace data using the backup tools. Requests to access, correct, delete, or obtain information about personal data can be sent to support@getflintwell.com. Flintwell will respond as required by applicable law. Where a state privacy law provides additional rights, Flintwell will honor those rights when they apply.

Customer information entered by contractors

A contractor using Flintwell may enter information about that contractor's own customers. The contractor remains responsible for having an appropriate basis to collect and use that information. Flintwell processes that workspace information to provide the service to the contractor.

Children

Flintwell is intended for business users and is not directed to children.

Changes

This notice may be updated as Flintwell changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, when appropriate, providing an additional notice.
